This Honda Accord K24Z2 Engine is a professionally remanufactured 2.4L i-VTEC long motor suitable for selected Honda Accord CP2 VTi, VTi-L and VTi Luxury models manufactured between February 2008 and April 2013.
Important condition disclosure: the original Honda cylinder block and cylinder head are professionally remanufactured because new K24Z2 Honda castings are no longer readily available. The motor is assembled using new internal components, including a brand-new crankshaft, new valves, new pistons and rings, new bearings, new timing chain, guides, tensioner, timing gears, gaskets and seals.
This product is advertised as a professionally remanufactured engine with new internals—not as an entirely brand-new engine.
The Accord CP2 Replacement Engine is supplied as a bare engine or long motor. Buyers must transfer suitable external components, including the intake components, throttle body, fuel rail, injectors, ignition coils, catalytic-converter assembly, starter motor, alternator, air-conditioning compressor, wiring, sensors, engine mounts and automatic-transmission components.
The original engine must be confirmed as K24Z2. This motor does not directly replace the K24Z3 fitted to the Accord Euro, the J35Z2 V6 or the later K24W3 engine.
No exchange motor is required. Includes a one-year product warranty and direct support on +61 461 265 808, 8am to 5pm NZ time. Freight to New Zealand is a flat rate, NZ$710 North Island or NZ$790 South Island. Professional installation is required.

Before you fit it
Plan the job around the whole vehicle
A new engine only lasts if the reason the old one failed is fixed. Your mechanic should check these before fitting.
Find the original cause
Overheating, cooling faults, blocked intakes or fuel issues that killed the old engine will kill the new one too. Diagnose and fix them first.
Check the parts you reuse
Radiator, hoses, injectors, turbo, intercooler and sensors carried over from the old engine should be inspected, cleaned or replaced.
Follow the fitting requirements
Fitted by a qualified mechanic with a tax invoice, correct fluids and a proper first start-up. This keeps your warranty active.

Yes. Built from new components only — not reconditioned, not second-hand, zero kilometres.
What's included with the engine?
This is a long block. Accessories such as the turbo, injectors, pumps, sensors and manifolds are transferred from your existing engine unless listed otherwise. Check the description or ask us if unsure.
Will I pay GST or customs fees on delivery?
Yes. Prices are in NZD excluding GST. When the engine arrives, NZ Customs collects 15% GST plus an import entry transaction fee and biosecurity levy (around NZ$172 combined) before it is released. Engines are duty-free. You pay those charges directly to Customs, not to us.
